The handover ceremony was held on 25 June 2021 at Department of Agriculture and forestry of Xayabury Province and chaired by Mr. Somchit Chanthavong, by Deputy Mayor of Xaybury Province. Attended to the ceremony by Mr. Boutsakhone Inthalangsy, Director General of Department of Agriculture and forestry of Xayabury Province, head and deputy head of relevant unit and participated by technical staff from provincial and district agriculture and forestry and farmer groups in each village. The propose of handover ceremony is to support the matching grant which the total value is 2.5 billion Kip, grant from the project (LACP) worth 1.6 billion Kip and promote Good Agricultural Practices for rice to produce commercial rice production.
