LACP the 5th implementation support mission via Video Conference was help during 17-23 December 2020, at Virtual meeting room of Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Phommy Inthichack, Deputy Director General of Department of Planning and Finance, with representative from technical department from Ministry of Agriculture and forestry, Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Provincial Agriculture and Forestry, Provincial Industry and Commerce, World Bank, SNV Netherlands Development Organisation, International Rice Research Institute and National Project Management Official.
The purpose of the meeting is to report on the progress of the project implementation that agreed since the last mission in June 2020. The implement of each component includes: 1). Follow-up the progress of each from the last mission; 2). Review the investment plant of FPGs and Agri business; 3). Continue to review and improve environmental and social assessments report based on the feasibility study and detailed design of the feasibility study and evaluation of the already assessed irrigation project (1B) and plans to carry out renovations; 4). The management of the central level (NPMO) and provincial level to accelerate the implementation of the project.
Through the implementation of the project in the last 6 months of 2020, the project has been implemented in accordance with each component, has achieved great success, achieved all the objectives, expectations set out and all-important points that the project will be implemented in the next step.
