Refresh Training on Financial Management and Procurement Management to Departments and 5 Provinces of LACP was held from 20-23 August 2019 in Vang vieng District, Vientiane Province. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Chanthaneth SIMAHANO, Acting Director of Department of Planning and Finance, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. The main purpose of this training is to review the financial management for accounting staffs in 5 provinces and technical department and reported the audited financial statement report of 2017-2018 as well as advantages – weaknesses was found in last year’s accounting audit. Distributed Important legislation, regulations and comments from the World Bank to the participants. On the procurement management is to review the last implementation of procurement activities, following the procurement rules, bidding from, evaluation consultants, renew contact, procurement of work and irrigation.
At the last section of the meeting, there were exchanges of ideas and presented difficult issues on the implementing financial and procurement work, it also discussed and agreed on the direction for further revisions.
