From the period of 29-30 June 2020, National Project Management Official work on data collection, update and summarize data of production group and village group round 4th and the dissemination of environmental and social frameworks for the prevention of covid-19 and the Follow up the process of writing a farmer group’s investment plan in Vientiane Province. The meeting was co-chaired by Mrs. Khanamany Inpaiyalath, Deputy Director of Vientiane Province Agriculture and Forestry both as the LACP supervisor and Mr. Phouthone Sririphanthong, National Project Director. The meeting was attended by Provincial and District staff of Department of Agriculture and forestry and Department of Industry and Commerce.
The main purpose of the workshop is to guide the province and districts to systematically collect data (groups, villages, districts and province), introduce the application of Pivot and Smartsheet to facilitate data collection and compilation, using the updated monitoring form to match each project indicators and give the province a copy of the booklet for each group. In addition, the meeting also disseminated Environmental and Social Safeguard (EFS) on the prevention of Covid-19 in construction projects such as: Construction challenges, construction contracts, defensive planning of the borrower and contractor’s responsibility to recognize and understand the method and preventive measures. And after that the meeting also discussed on the process of farmer group’s investment plan, support Provincial Department of Agriculture and Forestry team on business plan monitoring, coordinate with the project coordinator in provincial level, district level, and group members to prepare proposal, schedule and use business plan template to explain to group members and conduct to the fieldwork.
