Training workshop to strengthen the capacity to the village facilitator took place on 17-19 March 2021, at Department of Agriculture and forestry Vientiane Capital. The meeting was chaired by Mrs. Phit Phomphet, Deputy Director of Department of Agriculture and Forestry Vientiane Capital and Mr. Phouthone Siriphanthong, National Project Director. The workshop attended by more than 35 participants from Central and Provincial Project Coordinator, Provincial Village Facilitator and consultant from the national project management official. The main objective of the workshop is to strengthen the capacity and responsibility of village facilitators to understand how to support and facilitate activities implemented by group members, in organizing farmer training, transferring seed and crop production technology to farmers from pre-production to postharvest to enhance capacity of village facilitators in assisting the PAFO and DAFO in collecting information and data related to the implementation of the investment plan and the adoption of GAP by group members and send them to DAFO/PAFO weekly for consolidation and submission to NPMO quarterly.
